Guess brand acquiring a line of eyeglasses as opposed to simply licensing its name was a first in the fashion universe at the time. Even So, Guess brand was used to managing the unexpected and diverting from the usual path. Starting out by having a meager two dozen of their prototype three zipper jeans available at Bloomindale’s only as a personal favor from the store to founder Georges Marciano, Guess defied the odds and sold out their stock in an resoundingly quick manner. Now, with the launch of Guess Eyeglasses, the label was once again defying the odds. This time they were going to impart affordably priced, name brand, quality to eyewear to the masses. The idea was wildly successful and the other fashion houses soon followed the leader by acquiring eyeglass companies themselves rather than licensing their brand names.

Guess focuses on quality through all phases of making a pair of designer eyeglass frames to be added to their line of name brand eyewear. They mate their beautiful designs with the most advanced technology from the West coast to make a truly extraordinary pair of glasses that are both laid-back and outspoken. However, Guess eyeglasses is renown for their peculiar rimless eyeglasses with metal logos and patterns attached at either temple. It is through this unique feature that the wearer can express their personality, and those who see the glasses known instantly that they are a creation of Guess eyeglasses. Devoted to both function and fashion, as well as quality excellence, Guess eyeglasses offers a wide selection of frames for their customers to choose from.

Something You Really Should Check out — Sydney Botulinum Injections

Posted in Beauty Care
at 6:38 am on Tuesday, 12 January 2010

Botulinum medicine (abbreviated to B.tox) has become ingrained amongst smart Sydney society and has become a grooming necessity for those in the city.

Yet I never fail to be astonished when I hear the various half truths that surround this treatment.

Here are some of the urban legends which we encounter all the time at Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I am employed as a physician.

Mistake # 1: B.tox might immobilize all my expressions!

We recommend you hop over to our terrific web site for Sydney Botulinum injections tips

There are sixty or so muscles in the human face. They normally work in harmony, but over a period of time expression lines can form. Too great a dose of Botulinum Toxin may lead to the face appearing too relaxed. Most doctors would use relatively minute amounts to make you appear less tired, yet you will remain every bit as expressive.

So a carefully calculated dosage of B.tox in the appropriate place means an expressive face is preserved whilst the fine lines undergo a softening effect.

Mistake # 2: Botulinum is a toxic substance!
This to some extent is true. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the proper medical nomenclature. An overdose may relax facial muscles that you do not want relaxed and can make one very ill.

Pharmacists have a well known expression that states ‘everything is poisonous – it all depends on the dose’. A large amount of any medication can result in sickness. If you drink too great a quantity of water it will kill you.

Mistake # 3: B.tox injections will be painful!
At Star Cosmetic Medicine the physician only uses a needle finer than a human hair. Many patients have stated that the treatments are not worse than being bitten by a mosquito. For Certain not painful compared to getting a blood test.

Mistake # 4: My face will lose sensitivity!
Totally untrue. B.tox works on the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, and not on sensate nerves. B.tox just targets the ability to relax muscular tissues.

Mistake # 5. You cannot stop having B.tox otherwise the lines become even worse!
Also untrue.

One B.tox treatment lasts about 3 months. Later treatments do last a few weeks more. Gradually as muscle strength builds up again the wrinkles will return bit by bit. But they will certainly be no deeper than when you began.

As A Matter Of Fact the wrinkles should be be less noticeable than if you hadn’t had B.tox injections – even should you don’t repeat the treatment. This, of course is obviously so due to the fact your facial muscles and skin have had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ for a few months.

My Visit to Advanced Hair Studio

Advanced Hair Studio, I was unwilling and I did not realize that my hair loss was affecting my social life. I used to enjoy social gatherings but noticed recently I felt very uncomfortable in these situations and was frequently turning down invitations. My family helped me understand that I was no longer participating in my regular routine and seldom did I ever encourage outings. The final straw that finally led me to call them was when my son painted a picture of me with only half a head of hair. I quickly discovered that even my kids had started to notice my hair loss and it was time to get help.

During my first consultation with Advanced Hair Studio to talk about feasible treatment choices, I was unbelievably anxious and hesitant to even take out the hat I was wearing. I immediately felt foolish when I realized how professional the staff was and was amazed at how comfortable they made me feel. The customer service that they provided me was second to none, they were very patient and took the time to explain every aspect of the treatment to me. The people are sincerely caring and understand what it is like to face undesirable hair loss, and it really is their goal to help.

Needless to say, the treatments were effective and I no longer have to worry about baldness. It’s an incredible feeling knowing that I once again have the freedom to follow my normal interests and engage in activities without embarrassment. I strongly recommend Advanced Hair Studio to anyone in the conditions that I can proudly say I am no longer in. While it may seem silly to individuals who have not experienced it, I can honestly say that it was a life changing decision that I have never repented at all.

Information You Need to Understand about B.tox Treatment

Sydney Botulinum therapy (Botox for short) has become the latest thing in Sydney society and now it has become an integral part of a beauty routine for people in the city.

But I am often astonished when I hear the insane myths about the procedure.

I have included below a few of the more mistakes that we come across everyday in Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I work as a doctor.

Myth no. 1: I could lose my facial expressions!

Research has determined there are around sixty muscles underneath the skin of your face. These ordinarily operate harmoniously, but from continued movement lines or wrinkles may form. If surplus Botox is injected the muscles of the face can sometimes become over relaxed. The dose injected by most doctors make you look ‘refreshed’, yet you will still appear just as expressive.

Indeed a carefully measured quantity of Botox in the appropriate site means one will get a smoothing of the wrinkles without any reduction in facial expression.

Myth no. 2: Botulinum is poisonous!
This to a small extent is correct. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the proper pharmaceutical nomenclature. An overdose may loosen muscles that you do not want relaxed or can even make you very ill.

But to maintain some perspective: an old chemist’s expression is that ‘everything is poisonous – all depending on the dose’. All medicines in a big enough amount will make you unwell. Water can be a poison if you take enough.

Myth no. 3: Botox is painful!
The needles used at Star Cosmetic Medicine have a diameter smaller than a human hair. Some individuals compare the injections to a bug bite. For Certain not painful compared to getting a blood profile.

Myth no. 4: My face will be less sensitive!
False. Botox works on the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerves. Only the ability to relax your muscles is impacted by Botox injections.

Myth no. 5. You must keep getting Botox otherwise you will get worse fine lines and wrinkles than earlier!
This is also false.

The first set of injections will last approximately three months. Subsequent treatments do last a few weeks more. Eventually as muscle strength returns to normal – the lines will eventually reform. Nevertheless your wrinkles definitely won’t be deeper than before the treatment commenced.

To learn more, we suggest you hop over to our comprehensive website for Sydney Botox clinics tips.

In fact any lines will more often than not be less noticeable than if you had never undergone Botox treatment – even if you never continue the injections. Due to the fact that your facial muscles and skin have had a rest whilst the treatment was effective.

My Journey to Regaining Confidence

My hair loss treatment journey began the day I started to notice my receding hair line and my bald spot becoming bigger. The most apparent thing to do was to find ways to comb my hair to hide my bald spot. I began to wear more and more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Of course at work I could not wear caps so it was an unpleasant experience each morning for me just to walk in the office. Your mind will do that to you when you are going through hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be true about your hair loss.

Having suffered from hair loss, I began to appreciate every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each individual hair I lost, so was a small part of my confidence gone as well. I was not alone, a friend of mine had been suffering from the same problem as me. Yet lately he appeared so much more relaxed and I observed that it was as if his hair was growing back. I didn’t wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when he told me about Advanced Hair Studio. With just a few visits my friend Tom had not only regrown his hair, but his confidence as well. After speaking to Josh and understanding what Advanced Hair has done for him, I took the courage to make an appointment for a free hair check.

I was a little cynical at first. But outcomes were evident within a few weeks. Not only on my head, but in my behavior. I began to lose the caps on the weekends and I quickly started to feel better about myself. My wife who has been unhappy about my lack of interest in our relationship began to notice the change in that department as well. It is amazing how just a few consultations to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I always felt as if the first thing people observed about me was my bald spot. Now, I am not terrified to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of self esteem back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair little by little, but a big piece of my confidence as well. So, if anyone is going through hair loss I highly recommend them. Don’t let baldness take your self-confidence away.

The hypodermic needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine have a diameter smaller than your hair. Numerous patients say that the shots aren’t as sore as mosquito bites. It is certainly less traumatic than a procedure like a blood profile.

Error no. 4: Botox will deaden my face!
Not true. Botox targets the neuromuscular junction, and not on the nerves of sensation. Just the ability to relax your muscles is affected by Botox injections.

Error no. 5. Once you begin getting Botox you must keep it up or else you will have even worse fine lines and wrinkles than before!
Once More this is simply incorrect.

You can expect Botox to last for in the region of 3 months. Any injections after the initial consultation should be effective for a few weeks longer. The wrinkles will gradually reappear as the muscle regains its strength. But they will certainly not be any more noticeable than when you began.

Even if you never have Botox ever again – those lines should be smoother than if you had never been treated. Due to the fact that your facial muscles and skin have had a rest during the treatment.

Synthetic Wigs, Not Just for Masquerades, Offer Meaningful Hair Loss Treatment

Hardly even a friend of mine might guess, since my face compliments my wigs quite subtly, but my close family and friends know that I wear wigs to regain my look. You’re reading The Hillsborough Quarterly by Denise Griffin. I was surprised that Joseph my associate didn’t recognize me after returning from Europe. That’s the value of wigs. My wigs make my hair so professionally voluminous. They permit me to realize what I call my “feminine ceiling.”

Here’s a tale, A decade ago after having my first child, my doc told me I had an illness which fundamentally called for women’s wigs. It caused me to question my very worth as a woman. However, I’m not skin-deep, so the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were not at the top of my list of problems. It’s a reality, I have toddlers to look after and on top of that, a dynamic fashion consultancy to run. I did not realize that given the health and family considerations on the line, wigs made a lot of practical sense.

So I hopped onto the promise of feeling better and had an office visit with an MD friend of mine about covering my women’s hair loss. I was wishing upon an answer other than wigs, to be completely honest. As my doctor proposed that discreet human hair wigs for women might fully address my hair shortage, I stayed suspicious! These days I’m a true believer in wigs, and offer advice to women with hair loss. The one secret women need to take home, is this: if you accessorize it like it’s never going out of style, you’ll feel empowered.

Before women’s hair loss,
I had not planned it would come down to quality lace front wigs for feminine mystique. Sometimes, I can still remember my mother doing her iconic larger-than-life hair do, which resembled a cornucopia of wigs, in the bathroom mirror. Her locks were preternaturally remained a glowing blonde aura, and she knew how to make it shine. She could control anyone with it, woman or man. The woman had little use for wigs. When I was a little girl I would think that this was also my future for taking care of my hair.

But, somethings never turn out when you conceive of them as a child. Wigs are actually a piece of my fashion sense, and I appreciate the look they give me! Let me tell you about it. Not too long ago I would find clumps of hair in the sink. The problem was medical hair loss when I stated getting older, and I didn’t know why. My medical advisor recommend medical wigs. Instead, my best idea to get a grip was sitting down to chat with mom, Trish.

Something told me I was barking up the wrong tree, due to the fact of my mother’s life-long hair of perfection specifically when it comes to hair fashions. I understand how she cares for her hair, however that was childish, because she’s my own blood and she loves me. I phoned her up looking at
womens wigs in a few weeks. However, I lied a bit and didn’t reveal my medical hair loss. I told her that we were purely enjoying a wonderful day on the town.

When we got to eating I took her hand and told her about my doctor’s suggestion of wigs. I felt a bit ashamed, but low and behold my mother broke down and said lost her hair and has worn
