Talking about the style war between them, the Aussie singer said: “I know Cheryl has two stylists and I have none. I put a lot of work into it. I style myself. I choose all my outfits.”

However, she was quick to add: “She’s really nice to me. We have a laugh. People think they’ll be a drama between two women but we don’t care about that. It’s not in my nature to be jealous.”

For 2009, the festival has announced that all musical performances will be free. Unlike previous years, this Bele Chere will not have gated concerts. Tickets will not be required for any musical performance. With all the free music, Asheville NC lodging is likely to fill up with reservations early.

Another addition to this year’s Bele Chere will be an indoor component. The Asheville Civic Center will host attractions including the Food Lion Children’s Area and the Senior Oasis sponsored by PSNC Energy.
