Lipman’s Outstanding Career

Nathaniel Lipman, the current president and chief executive officer of the Affinion Group, is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley where he had obtained his BA degree in 1986. In 1989, he continued his law studies at the UCLA School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor.
His career took a sudden jolt upwards when he became senior vice president and general counsel at House of Blues Entertainment Inc. as well as senior corporate counsel at the Walt Disney Company. Following his job at the House of Blues Entertainment Inc, Nathaniel Lipman stayed with the consumer brand developer, Planet Hollywood International from 1996 to 1999 where he served as senior executive vice president for Corporate Development and Strategic Planning.
After Planet Hollywood, Lipman moved to become the senior vice president of business development and strategic planning for Cendant’s Alliance Marketing Division and from March 2000 to August 2001, he served as the executive vice president of business developments for Cendant Membership Services. He also holds the same position for Trilegiant.
Eventually, Nathaniel Lipman took the position of chief executive officer and president of Trilegiant. On October 2005, he was able to become part of the global company, Affinion. Aside from all that, Lipman and his wife Dana also support the EQUUS Foundation, a group dedicated to helping horses.
